This trick works even on unrooted devices but does not works for some new devices if they are not rooted but it works on many devices. If you have a rooted android then it will be much easier.
follow the steps to find password in android:
1. First of all, you need to download and install “ES File Explorer” application on your phone.
2. Now open the app and  open menu,
3. Click on Local > Device from the navigation menu,
5. now go to etc folder,
6. open the wifi folder.,
7. and click on a file with named “wpa_supplicant.conf”
8. open that file in ES Text Viewer/editor,
9. Yyou will see the details of all the connected WiFi with SSID and Password  in the file written in plain text,
Note – This method doesn’t work on all the Android devices. You might find problems like not seeing any folders while clicking on device  in menu . If it occurs to you then try  after inserting a sd-card and using another similar app like file manager, file explorer or other similar apps to view system files.
If none of all work then you  have to  root your phone. There are so many applications available on the play store which can view saved wifi password in your phone. Download only trusted of them after analysing their complete rating and user reviews because sometimes you may be tricked by fake apps which can stole your sensitive information.
